It aims to make a more appealing environment to do business and thrive economically in the UAE.
Eligibility Requirements
Entrepreneurial professionals of any nationality can apply for a business visa.
Anyone who has previously started a business and wishes to do so in the UAE is considered an eligible entrepreneur.
To be eligible for the commercial application, you must:
– Be able to demonstrate your experience as an entrepreneur
– Have been a majority shareholder in a start-up or a member of its management team
– Be willing to relocate to the UAE and legally start a business in one of the seven emirates
– Have a business idea or plan that you want to implement in the UAE.
candidates must pass the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship’s standards, which include a background check and a health assessment.
Qualification for the business visa is not a guarantee that the applicant will receive the visa. Specialized committees review the application and attached documents and issue an appropriate approval. Once approved, the applicant must meet the requirements of the Federal Authority for identity and citizenship to receive the visa.
Applying for a business visa
You must have your nomination accepted by a UAE government-sponsored incubator to apply for a business visa (currently AREA2071 in Dubai and HUB71 in Abu Dhabi).
After your nomination is accepted, you will be invited to apply for a visa through Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship.
The nomination method is as follows:
- Visit https://business.goldenvisa.ae and create a new account.

- Submit your completed application. The process might take up to 30 days for your application to be reviewed.
Once your nomination is approved, you will receive a link to upload the required documents and complete your application for the visa.
